1. Warm Up
Grab the gals and head to Stubbs Park Activity Building’s Dance Studio for a great cardio workout and learn hot new moves to burn up the dance floor during Zumba. Taught by Natalia Chavis & Donella Peacock, get moving each Monday from 6 PM to 7 PM and Tuesday and Thursday 6:30- 7:30 pm for only $5.00 per class.
2. Make Your Heart Sing
Raise hearts in praise Thursday, October 12th at 6:30 PM at Theatre Dublin as World Vision presents Worship In The Round Tour featuring Building 429, Josh Wilson and Chris August. Presented in Nashville’s tradition of musicians in the round, take part in an inspirational night of music, worship, and storytelling.
3. Fright Fest
Beginning October 13th, new chills await as the Old Slaughterhouse returns for 2017, striking fear into visitor’s hearts. With three terror filled attractions, Haunted Montrose sits in a remote cornfield, silently waiting for nightfall when the terror starts. Wondering what still may be lurking inside Havoc 3-D, Raven Blackout, and Experimental or when it last had human contact? Find out every weekend October 13th-October 31st.
4. Fall Festy Fun
Summon laughs o’plenty at Lighthouse Church of God Saturday, October 14th from 5 PM until 8 PM featuring hayrides, favorite foods and of course all the candy you can scare up!
5. Seasonal Delight
Five courses of seasonal yum await at Dublin Farms B&B on Friday, October 13th and Saturday, October 14th beginning at 7 PM at Ristorante da Maria. From the appetizer to the first dish and continuing through the entrée, and culminating in sorbet and dessert, experience Maria’s skill and love of regional Italian cuisine. This 5 course menu is worth reserving!
6. Local Grown Treats
No tricks, just a basket packed with treats up for grabs when you visit Market on Madison, Saturday, October 14th from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM and spend $5 with any vendor. Click here for more info.
7. Treat Yo’self Tea
Treat yo’self with a Saturday afternoon tea (or better yet, brunch from 10:30 AM-1:30 PM!) on Saturday, October 14th at Vinteaques. Dive into a tray full of delectables, or make your reservations for a Halloween Tea Party! Tea for Two is $25 and $12.50 for each additional person. Costume yourself or choose hats, pearls, boas and dresses for the little ones from our Dress Up Room.
8. Dare To Keep Quiet
Team up for Teen Trivia Night on Thursday, October 12th from 5 PM – 6 PM as Laurens County Library offers brain bending facts and fun for grades 6-12. Continue in fright Monday, October 16th at 10:30 AM for coffee and a classic movie with a showing 1963 horror based on the novel The Haunting of Hill House.
9. Let Them Eat Cake
It’s their birthday, and you’re invited! Wish Mint happiness during their Happy (3rd) Birthday Celebration on October 13th & 14th from 10 AM to 7 PM for 2 days of birthday shopping, lots of presents, and cake!
10. Giving Back For Jack
Take a swing at cancer as Green Acres Club Club supports PGA Pro Jack Dean in his fight against cancer during Giving Back for Jack on Saturday, October 14th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a 10 AM shotgun start.
11. Take A Bite Out Of Litter

12. Masked Ball
Mask yourself in mystery and drape yourself in decadence as Page House B & B waltzes with local charity One Hope during The Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 14th. Savor a delicious wine tasting, chocolate fountain with dipping items, and perfectly paired hors d’oeuvres. Revel in a night of great music and masquerade themed games! 13. Wind in Your Hair
Experience the joys of the open road with OCMA Dream Team on Saturday, October 14th during Champions for Disabilities Bike Ride beginning at 8 AM at the Civitan Fairgrounds. With a police escort, rest stops, and 18 and 30 mile options, it’s the perfect way to breathe in a little fall air!
14. Disability Awareness Fair
Gather the family as Easter Seals brings fall fun for all during Disability Awareness Fair on Saturday, October 14 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. With info stations, dunking booth, corn hole tournament, food, music, face painting, and a cake walk, come ready to laugh!
15. The Piano Man
Stir your emotions with the rich tones of classical piano styling in Downtown Dublin during a live performance by pianist Thomas Pandolfi at historic Theatre Dublin Monday, October 16th at 7:30 PM.
16. Monster Mash
Are you so talented its scary? Ok with getting booed…Step up during Spooky Open Mic Night at Company Supply on Thursday, October 19th from 9:30 PM to 12 AM. Pair it with drink specials, costume contests, and CoSup’s killer new menu, for a spooky good time.
17. Dublin Fall Fair
This one needs no fancy title. We missed it in the Spring, but Dublin Civitan Club loves us (well, not US specifically) so much, they’ve brought Dublin Fall Fair back! From 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17th through Saturday, October 21st, it’s time for Dublin to get it’s Fall Fair on! Fair food, the midway, the rides…they’ll allllll be there!
18. Monster Dash
Bring all the little monsters on Saturday, October 21 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Market on Madison for Pilot Club’s Monster Dash. With a 5K for all ages, costume contests, and a 1 mile candy run, you better catch all the fun.
19. Family Time
Take a breather before the holiday season kicks into high gear at Fairview Park Hospital with a Movie on the Lawn featuring Beauty & the Beast! This free event will be held Saturday, October 21st on the front lawn with special family-fun activities from 4 pm – 7 pm. The movie will reel forward at dusk. Come dressed as your favorite Disney character or action hero and join the fun! Each person must have an individual ticket for entry.
20. Eats & Treats
Our boys in blue will be cooking up fun during Dublin Police Department Trick or Treat at their bicycle precinct located on Church Street on Stubbs Park Thursday, October 26th from 5-7 PM. Stop by as they grill up dinner and hand out oodles of candy.
21. Tickets, Tickets!
Scare up tickets now all over town to attend Dublin Service League’s 54th Annual Fair & Marketplace held November 7th and 8th. One holiday at a time, but Christmas IS coming and your gift list will be a tad lighter after shopping more than 20 fabulous antique, jewelry and gift vendors from across the Southeast!
