Check out the exciting line up at Theatre Dublin! Thrill to Elvis ’56 as Cody Ray Slaughter portrays the legendary King of Rock on September 8th, tap along to your favorite Broadway tune with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra on September 9th, celebrate the 70’s with the Georgia Players Guild for the Chicago and Boston Tribute concert on September 22nd, sing along with Worship in the Round Building 429, Josh Wilson, and Chris August on October 12th, and explore the worlds of Andrew Loyd Webber, George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein performed by famed virtuoso pianists Thomas Pandolfi on October 16th.  Purchase tickets here.

14. Be Dramatic

Open call for student’s entering 1st through 12th grade to come out and audition for The Wiz of the West, a production of the Missoula Children’s Theatre on Monday, Aug 21st from 4 PM to 6 PM at Theatre Dublin.  The audition fee is $10 and a rehearsal schedule will be provided. Register now for the 3rd Annual Hustle for the House 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run to be held August 19th from 8 AM to 11 AM at Southern Pines Regional Park sponsored by Clarks Health Club. Proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Donations of pop tops accepted. Register here. 

17. Found Fun

Head to Beddingfield Park in Caldwell for the 1st Annual Cadwell Founders Day Festival on Saturday August 19th from 10 AM to 6 PM. Shop for local arts and crafts, enjoy an exciting line up of live music, some great BBQ, and so much more! Carter’s Rockin Rides will be on hand to entertain the little ones.

As summer fades, make the trip to the Visitor’s Center in Dublin, GA to find hand painted souvenirs to delight, books in the lending library to read, #DublinGARocks to find, and our Georgia Grown garden is getting a fall makeover!
