DESCRIPTION:Watch as butterflies\, bees\, flies\, wasp\, moths\, and more flighty friends frolic among the flowers in our pollinator garden during the Great Southeast Pollinator Census at the Dublin Visitors Center on Friday\, August 21st! \nBlooming Fun\nVisit Dublin GA and Laurens County 4-H are buzzing with excitement about the Great Southeast Pollinator Census and have teamed up for an afternoon of education\, family friendly activities\, snacks\, and most important of all\, counting bugs! \nJoin us at our Official Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail Pollinator Pitstop from 2 PM to 6 PM for these fun-ducational activities: \n\nHourly talks from Georgia 4-H Pollinator Ambassador\, Lorelei Mullis\, about types of pollinators\, plants pollinators love\, how to participate in the count\, and more!\n15 minute Pollinator Counts\nHourly Story time\nPlant and bug themed coloring pages\nRefreshments for our bee-rilliant counters\nAn interactive You are the Pollinator Photo Op\nAnd more!\n\nGreat Southeast Pollinator Census\nThe Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia to make a difference for pollinator conservation\, encourage better entomological literacy\, and help people across the Southeastern US create sustainable pollinator habitats. Anyone can participate. In 1996\, Theatre Dublin was born as a performing arts center\, hosting arts and culture events such as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and the annual production of The Nutcracker.
