Audiences can expect an inspiring program of beloved patriotic songs and classic hymns that reflect the enduring story of the United States. Be prepared\, you might want to have tissues on hand\, as the splendor of voices rising together in unison\, paired with the classic theatre atmosphere\, is sure to stir a heartfelt wave of patriotic pride. \nAs communities across the country commemorate this year’s America 250 anniversary\, this concert serves as Dublin’s own contribution to the celebration\, aligning with Georgia’s statewide efforts to honor 250 years of American independence. For your convenience\, America The Beautiful tickets are available in Dublin at Bubba’s Tire\, Citizens Bank on Hillcrest Parkway\, First Baptist Church\, and the Visit Dublin GA offices at  the Dublin Visitors Center.  \nAbout Theatre Dublin\nBuilt in 1934 and renovated in 1996\, Theatre Dublin serves as a performing arts center for Dublin‐Laurens County and surrounding areas. With seating for over 600 people and state-of-the-art sound and light equipment\, guests can enjoy a vibrant schedule of musical artists\, children’s plays and performances\, orchestras and concerts\, movies\, and more! The theatre is owned by the City of Dublin and managed by the Dublin Downtown Development Authority. Boasting the largest retractable movie screen in Georgia\, a custom built 40 foot screen and 15-speaker motion-driven digital surround sound system allows each of the 620 seats an experience of the highest quality visual and sound. \nMovie Schedule\nLadies Night!\nAdmissions: $2 | 7 PM | Themed concession specials at each movie. \nWhere The Crawdads Sing \nMay 7th | PG-13\nA man is discovered dead\, and a woman living alone in the perilous marshlands of North Carolina becomes the prime suspect. As the investigation progresses\, the truth about what transpired grows more obscure\, casting the spotlight on numerous hidden secrets. \nMovie House\nBuilt-in 1934\, The Martin operated as a movie house\, providing years of entertainment for families and a hip hangout for teens\, with opening night showings of cult favorites Star Wars\, Grease\, and so many more. As the 1970s neared its end\, the retro movie theatre began to slowly fall into disarray. Not to allow such a prominent part of Dublin GA history fall away\, in the 90’s a group of businessmen and an enthusiastic community came together to save the historic theatre from demolition with a complete renovation. In 1996\, Theatre Dublin was born as a performing arts center\, hosting arts and culture events such as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and the annual production of The Nutcracker.
