Bring a lawn chair or blanket to set your family up in the theatre parking lot. Live music will have you dancing under the stars from 7 PM right into the New Year in Downtown Dublin GA. \nNYE is a night of indulgence\, and food truck options will be onsite to guide you on a culinary journey to bid farewell to the old year! \nUsher in 2026\, Dublin-style! Years ago\, it was a beloved tradition to gather in front of Laurens County’s oldest bank\, Farmers and Merchants Bank\, on New Year’s Eve to watch the clock strike midnight. Though the original bank that once stood on Jackson Street and is long gone\, the Downtown Dublin Development Authority revived the celebration with the New Year’s Eve Shamrock Drop\, transforming Madison Street behind Theatre Dublin into a full-on street party as the countdown begins! \nToast to The Stars\nCelebrate New Year’s Eve with live performances by Georgia Chryslers (7:30 PM to 9:30 PM) 47 By Crow (10 PM to midnight) and as the brightly lit shamrock descends to count down the clock and ring in the new year with a bubbly toast. The party kicks off early in the theatre parking lot with music\, so bring your lawn chairs and coolers and enjoy the festivities. Stroll through a sparkling\, candy-cane-lined trail that winds through a yard transformed into a glowing Christmas wonderland. A luminous archway welcomes you at the entrance\, opening into a magical scene filled with whimsical touches. Reindeer soar overhead between towering pines\, while dazzling angels and classic Christmas characters keep watch over the night. Illuminated snowmen\, Santas\, elves\, and glowing animals fill every corner\, and a ladder-climbing elf adds a playful surprise.
