DESCRIPTION:Ho Ho Ho to the Santa 3K Run Saturday\, December 11th in Dublin GA! Dublin-Laurens Recreation Authority hosts several fun runs and events throughout the year in Dublin GA at Southern Pines Regional Park and Equestrian Center to encourage you to get out\, get active and run for fun! \nCandy Cane Lane\nWear your best Santa themed outfit and get festive as you warm up while prancing over 2 miles of magical track! Deck yourself as Santa\, a reindeer\, Mrs. Clause\, an elf or your most festive running attire for this family-friendly 3K! \nRegistration begins at 9 AM at the Southern Pines Water Park\, then the real fun kicks off when the race begins at 10 AM. The race starts at the gates of Southern Pines Water Park then winds 2.1 miles through Southern Pines Regional Park. The race will loop back around and end in front of Southern Pines Water Park. \nRegistration Details\nAll ages are welcome to participate. Entry fees for Santa 3K Run are $10 per person for early registration and $15 per person for on-site registration. DESCRIPTION:Experience radiant floral arrangements abloom at the “Touch of Erin” Flower Show on Friday\, April 22nd from 2:30 PM to 6 PM and Saturday\, April 23rd from 10 AM to 2 PM at the First Baptist Church Family Center in Dublin GA. A special pre-flower show event welcomes gardening expert James Farmer to the stage for an afternoon presentation and demonstration. \nIn Bloom\nHosted by the The Erin Garden Club of Dublin\, The 2022 Touch of Erin Flower Show features stunning horticulture and floral designs and other impressive displays. This year’s show highlights plants native to the area and aims to give everyone ideas about creative floral designs. Judging for each category will be within the guidelines presented by the National Garden Clubs\, Inc. Entries will be awarded for first\, second\, and third place and honorable mention. The public is invited and encouraged to participate. \nAdmission to “A Touch of Erin” Flower Show is free and open to the public from 2:30 PM to 6 PM on Friday\, April 22\, and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday\, April 23 at the First Baptist Church Family Center located at 405 Bellevue Avenue in Downtown Dublin GA. \nBuds Before the Show\nJames Farmer’s pre-flower show event will take place from 1 PM to 2 PM on Friday\, April 22nd with doors opening at 12:30 PM. James is the founder of the interior design firm James Farmer Designs and is also an author\, gardening expert\, and speaker. Born and raised in Georgia\, James\, has proudly built his business in his hometown of Perry and is known for creating beautiful homes with effortless elegance. He is the author of A Time to Plant and Wreaths For All Seasons\, among others. \nTickets for James Farmer’s presentation are $40 each and can be purchased by calling Paige Smalley at 478-290-7275. The presentation will be followed by a book signing sponsored by Smith’s of Dublin. \nIn the Garden\nThe Erin Garden Club was created in April 1948 and is a proud  member of the National Garden Clubs\, Deep South Garden Club\, The Garden Club of  Georgia\, and Camellia District IV.
