An evil pharaoh is causing historical chaos\, with cowboys\, soldiers\, and tiny Romans running wild. History has never been this loud or this funny. \nLadies Night!\nAdmissions: $2 | 6 PM | Themed concession specials at each movie. \nDriving Miss Daisy \nJanuary 8th | PG\nDaisy Werthan\, a spirited elderly widow in Atlanta\, is fiercely committed to keeping her independence. The twist: Gracie is the only female agent who fits the bill\, even though she’s the farthest thing from the typical pageant girl. \nA League of Their Own \nApril 9th | PG\nDuring World War II\, as the number of young male athletes dwindled\, a professional women’s baseball league emerged in the Midwest\, supported by the publicity seeking mogul Walter Harvey. Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson and Kit Keller navigate their rivalry along with talent scout Ernie Capadino and the cantankerous former player Jimmy Dugar on their journey to stardom. \nWhere The Crawdads Sing \nMay 7th | PG-13\nA man is discovered dead\, and a woman living alone in the perilous marshlands of North Carolina becomes the prime suspect. As the investigation progresses\, the truth about what transpired grows more obscure\, casting the spotlight on numerous hidden secrets. \nMovie House\nBuilt-in 1934\, The Martin operated as a movie house\, providing years of entertainment for families and a hip hangout for teens\, with opening night showings of cult favorites Star Wars\, Grease\, and so many more. As the 1970s neared its end\, the retro movie theatre began to slowly fall into disarray. Not to allow such a prominent part of Dublin GA history fall away\, in the 90’s a group of businessmen and an enthusiastic community came together to save the historic theatre from demolition with a complete renovation. In 1996\, Theatre Dublin was born as a performing arts center\, hosting arts and culture events such as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and the annual production of The Nutcracker.

His parents retired and moved to Florida. That doesn’t mean his family isn’t still in Jersey. In fact\, he sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is routine until he has to tell them that he’s been offered a dream job. The job he’s been waiting for—marketing executive—would take him away from his beloved\, but annoying\, grandparents. He tells them. The news doesn’t sit so well. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around. How could he betray his family’s love to move to Seattle\, for a job\, wonder his grandparents? Well\, Frank\, Aida\, Nunzio and Emma do their level best\, and that includes bringing to dinner the lovely—and single—Caitlin O’Hare as bait…we won’t give the ending away here. \nCast of Characters\nNick Cristano – A guy in his late 2os looking for a fresh start. \nFrank Gianelli – Nick’s maternal grandfather\, an 80 year old immigrant from Italy. \nAida Gianelli – Nick’s maternal grandmother\, a woman in her 70s whose love language is caring for others\, especially through food. \nNunzio Cristano – Nick’s paternal grandfather\, in his 70s\, quite the charmer. \nEmma Cristano – Nick’s paternal grandmother\, a sweet schemer in her 70s that just wants the best for her grandson. \nCaitlin O’Hare – A charming woman in her later 20s. \nTickets\nShows will be held at Theatre Dublin. \nTickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Dublin Visitors Center\, Colleen’s China and Emerald City Treasures. \nDublin Main Street Players\nDublin Main Street Players is a local amateur theatre group which has been active for two decades\, delivering high energy shows such as Steel Magnolias Mysteries\, comedic skits from the Carol Burnett Show and lauded dinner theatre performances. \nPhoto Credit: Courier Herald via Facebook
