DESCRIPTION:Get ready to be served some shamrock themed excitement when the 46th Annual St. Patrick’s Festival Tennis Tournament blasts into full swing during on Super Saturday\, March 14th and Sunday\, March 15th at Dublin High School in Dublin GA. \n(DUE TO PARADE CONFLICTS\, YOUTH MAY PLAY FIRST ROUND MATCHES ON MARCH 14th AFTER 5 PM AT DHS.) \nSt. Patrick’s Tennis Tournament\nSponsored by Dublin Area Tennis Association\, the Annual St. Patricks Tennis Tournament invites everyone to hit the courts! With divisions for men\, women\, and youth\, singles\, doubles and mixed\, everyone can play! \nThe swinging begins at 9 AM with check-in at the Dublin High School Tennis Courts located at 1127 Hillcrest Parkway. Players should be ready to take the courts 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match time. \nOne tee shirt will be given to each participant with registration. DESCRIPTION:Leprechauns multiply by the dozens at the 59th Annual Leprechaun Contest at the Dublin High School Auditorium on Monday\, March 9th at 6 PM! Sponsored by Leadership Dublin-Laurens County\, the annual Leprechaun Contest is an official St. Patrick’s Festival Event. \nBit ‘O Blarney\nIrish green and creativity adorn wee 1st\, 2nd and 3rd grade students from the Laurens County area schools and homeschool students. Clever contestants compete against other children from their age group to be crowned the winner. Participants are judged on makeup\, originality\, authenticity\, imagination\, and general appearance. The top three boys and three girls from each grade receive trophies. The real prize for everyone is to see the winners in the Dublin St. Patrick’s Parade on Super Saturday! \nAll are welcome to attend to give a clap and dance a jig for the contestants. DESCRIPTION:Let that Irish beauty shine during a bright and beautiful celebration of Irish spirit\, poise\, and personality at the Miss Emerald City Pageant on Saturday\, February 28th at 1 PM at Dublin High School Auditorium. Contestants of all ages will take the stage at the Dublin High School Auditorium\, showcasing charm\, confidence\, and grace in this beloved community pageant. \nTickets\nTickets will be sold at the door (no advance ticket sales). Parents\, family\, and friends must purchase a ticket. There will be a crowning of an additional queen in each group of the Miss Emerald City Pageant ages 3-up. DESCRIPTION:Be charmed as the wee ones express their Irish spirit during St. Patrick’s Baby Erin Go Bragh Contest! \nBaby Erin Go Bragh\nThe annual Baby Erin Go Bragh contest will be held in conjunction with the Miss Emerald City Pageant on Saturday\, February 28th at Dublin High School Auditorium at 9 AM. \nDetails\nBaby Erin Go Bragh is open to ages newborn to two years. Contestants compete in dressy clothing – preferably Sunday best. Contestants are not expected to wear St. Patrick’s costumes. They are judged on best attire\, best smile & best personality. There is also an optional Photogenic Competition and People’s Choice award. \nRegistration\nBaby Erin Go Bragh Applicants must live in or adjacent to Laurens County including: Johnson\, Twiggs\, Wheeler\, Wilkinson\, Bleckley\, Emanuel\, Dodge\, Washington\, Telfair\, and Treutlen or have grandparents who live in Laurens County. The contest fee is $50 per contestant and an additional $20 for photogenic entry (1 photo). \nPhotogenic\nPhotogenic competition is also optional. The photogenic entry must be uploaded at time of registration. All judging for the photogenic competition will be done online by our pageant judges.
