Your taste buds will do a jig worthy of the jolliest Leprechaun! \nDetails\nBring the whole family to First Methodist Church\, located at 305 Gaines Street in beautiful Downtown Dublin\, for a true Irish feast. Join the craic during St. Patrick’s Super Saturday\, March 15th\, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Dublin’s original festival kicked off in 1966\, thanks to local radio personality\, Dick Killebrew\, who celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by playing Irish music and telling Irish stories and jokes. He felt the community should celebrate in honor of its Irish namesake\, and others agreed. The first festival lasted for 11 days and included a Parade and Pancake Supper which are still celebrated today. The Festival has grown and changed over the years\, and now includes six weeks of celebration.
