Experience radiant floral arrangements abloom at the “Touch of Erin” Flower Show on Friday, April 22nd from 2:30 PM to 6 PM and Saturday, April 23rd from 10 AM to 2 PM at the First Baptist Church Family Center in Dublin GA. A special pre-flower show event welcomes gardening expert James Farmer to the stage for an afternoon presentation and demonstration.
Hosted by the The Erin Garden Club of Dublin, The 2022 Touch of Erin Flower Show features stunning horticulture and floral designs and other impressive displays. This year’s show highlights plants native to the area and aims to give everyone ideas about creative floral designs. Judging for each category will be within the guidelines presented by the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Entries will be awarded for first, second, and third place and honorable mention. The public is invited and encouraged to participate.
Admission to “A Touch of Erin” Flower Show is free and open to the public from 2:30 PM to 6 PM on Friday, April 22, and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, April 23 at the First Baptist Church Family Center located at 405 Bellevue Avenue in Downtown Dublin GA.
James Farmer’s pre-flower show event will take place from 1 PM to 2 PM on Friday, April 22nd with doors opening at 12:30 PM. James is the founder of the interior design firm James Farmer Designs and is also an author, gardening expert, and speaker. Born and raised in Georgia, James, has proudly built his business in his hometown of Perry and is known for creating beautiful homes with effortless elegance. He is the author of A Time to Plant and Wreaths For All Seasons, among others.
Tickets for James Farmer’s presentation are $40 each and can be purchased by calling Paige Smalley at 478-290-7275. The presentation will be followed by a book signing sponsored by Smith’s of Dublin.
The Erin Garden Club was created in April 1948 and is a proud member of the National Garden Clubs, Deep South Garden Club, The Garden Club of Georgia, and Camellia District IV. Its purpose is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs and to cultivate the spirit of good gardening in its broadest sense.
