1. Fright Night

Located down a dark, deserted road, Haunted Montrose lures you in for a scare and fills your dreams with nightmares. A fear you have never experienced waits, and with every step, reaches further into your mind, building terror starting Friday, October 4th and lasting all throughout the fall season in October.

2. Fairest of Fun

Stroll under the bright lights, go round and round, or up and down! Carnival midway is in town with fun games, exciting rides, and carnival food. The Dublin Fall Fair starts Tuesday, October 15th through Saturday, October 19th. Everyone will have a fall-tastic time making unforgettable memories.

3. Pumpkin Pickers

Hand select ripe goodness at Downtown Dublin Farmers Market for all your must haves each Saturday through October. Make a morning of it and head down to search for the start of your scariest jack-o-lantern during the Pumpkin Patch Saturday, October 19th through Thursday, October 31st at Market on Madison in Downtown Dublin this festive fall season!

4. Lasso October

Saddle up for fall family fun during Middle Georgia’s 2nd Annual Easterseals Pro Rodeo Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th starting at 7 PM at Southern Pines Equestrian Center! Tickets are $10 – $15 and can be purchased at 5 PM when the gates open.

5. Ready, Set, Ghost!

Scare up your spookiest costume and prepare to do the Monster Dash Run in Dublin GA Saturday, October 26th from 7:30 AM until 10:30 AM! Start and finish at Downtown Dublin Farmers Market. Register HERE!

Once upon a time, a serial reader of Little Women and Little House On The Prairie, Miriam Lewis has harnessed her love of great storytelling, beautiful photography, and good people, and bundled it into a big package that is Executive Director of Visit Dublin GA. As a destination veteran Miriam joined Visit Dublin GA in 2015. She oversees Dublin Visitors Center operations & staff and Dublin and Laurens County’s marketing communications while leading strategic initiatives to maintain and strengthen the tourism industry in Dublin. Her favorite work hobbies include making good old fashioned paper lists (plural), reminding staff to take their breaks (they sometimes listen), quality checking local eats (she’ll quickly suggest goat curry or tongue tacos), and building relationships which become links in partnership across the state, boosting an economic engine for the Laurens County community.
