Visit Dublin GA releases Dublin’s first official destination guide.

December 17th, 2025 – Today, Visit Dublin GA released Dublin’s first official destination guide, now available at the Dublin Visitors Center. Designed with the help of Good Grit Agency, this guide includes locally owned shops and restaurants, seasonal events, places to stay overnight, itineraries catered to different types of travelers, questions frequently asked by guests of the Dublin Visitors Center, and more!

“For years at the Visitors Center, we’ve been seeing these colorful and informative guides for cities larger than ours. After spending the past three years establishing a recognizable brand beloved by tourists and our tourism partners, it’s time for Dublin to have its very own destination guide,” says Miriam Lewis, Visit Dublin GA Executive Director.

In January, the long process of creating Dublin’s first destination guide began. Extensive planning went into the guide’s composition. Length, paper style, binding, size, interior and exterior layouts, audience, event schedules, travel trends, all of this and more had to be considered. Months of brainstorming, surveys, photography sessions, editing, and man hours resulted in a 72 page destination guide.

Since the guide’s soft launch during Visit Dublin GA’s Explorer Days booth at Augusta’s Georgia State Visitor Information Center earlier this December, it has been well received by visitors, hoteliers, tourism partners, and even locals. “What you’ve created is really amazing,” said Sarah Anne Rhodes, Dublin’s Explore Georgia Regional Manager, “You can tell you put a lot of work into this guide to show Dublin authentically. Not only do I love this guide, it’s my 4 year old’s favorite book at the moment. You have something really special to be inspiring to both adults and children.”

This guide was created to be a tool for both visitors and locals to utilize and enjoy. One of the Visit Dublin GA team’s favorite sections is the FAQ page where real questions asked often by real tourists are answered. Stop right off I-16 at Exit 51 to receive your own guide at the Dublin Visitors Center or call 478-272-4002 to learn how your business can get its own display rack.

Fresh from graduating with her bachelor’s in psychology, Arilyn Erickson started work at Visit Dublin GA in December of 2021. Her love of helping people, knowledge of Dublin, curiosity, and creative spirit are exhibited in her ability to ensure guests are well informed and comfortable, contribute fresh ideas for improving the Visitors Center and developing tourism products, and promoting local businesses, locations, and events via our website and social media.
