1. Tumbling Books Art Sculpture

Visual art and reading inspire the human soul. Located outside the children’s center at the Laurens County Library, stands Tumbling Books. Crafted of solid metal and painted in bright primary colors, artist Gary Blackburn created it under the direction of donors Don and Ann Johnson. It sits tucked behind Bellevue Avenue on the library grounds as a symbol of Ann’s love for libraries.
