Autumn is a time for outdoor adventures, filling foods, and spooky specticals. Celebrate the season of change with fun fall activities for the whole family in Dublin GA!

Shift to Spooky Season

As daylight hours become shorter, the ghouls and goblins begin to roam at Haunted Montrose. Travel down a dark, deserted road in Montrose GA to the Old Slaughter House every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting September 22nd and ending Halloween night. If you’re looking for a night of fright, tickets are $26 and must be purchased in advance HERE.

Reel-y Nice Weather

What better way to enjoy the fall weather than to fish? Dust off the reel and forget the fishing license because Saturday, September 23rd is Free Fishing Day! Cast off into the Oconee River at River Bend or Beaverdam Wildlife Management Areas between 7 AM and 6 PM. Choose the lake at Hugh M. Gillis Public Fishing Area for young anglers to reel in channel catfish, munch on hotdogs, and try their hands at archery and BB shooting from 8 AM to 12 PM. Don’t forget the bait!

Gourd Times

Head south of town for two weekends of the Pumpkin Patch at Southern Cypress Farm! Pick from pumpkins-a-plenty starting Saturday, September 30th. But that’s not all! Bring the whole family for face painting, treats, hay rides, and fall-tastic photo opportunities!

Fly Away

Catch the whimsical autumn wind at W. H. ‘Bud’ Barron Regional Airport during Wheels & Wings and Other Fun Things on Saturday, October 7th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Watch winged machines take to the skies, get up close with planes, vehicles, and machinery, pig out on tasty food, and enter raffles for wheely cool prizes! Admission is an optional donation to benefit Kid’s Cup

Pig Out

Pig out for a good cause at Hunting For The Cure‘s 6th Annual Oyster Pig Roast at Southern Pines Park on October 7th! Chow down on ALL YOU CAN EAT oysters and Southern barbeque with all the fixins’, jam out to Gunshy, and participate in raffles and silent auctions starting at 4 PM. Get tickets HERE! All proceeds go to benefit children with cancer.
