Music takes center stage as Dublin draws the best in Georgia musical talent to historic Stubbs Park during DubJam, a three day music and art festival sponsored by Visit Dublin GA from August 10th through August 12th.
The Woofs have come to make you groove! Four beings have traveled through space, time and many lives to bring you a high energy multidimensional soundscape.
Cody Martin will take you on a journey combining a trifecta of guitar, keys and melodious vocals. Alex Stone will make you move with his mighty bass guitar and a harmonious voice. Ronnie Flow has the clues blending lead guitar, percussion, and vocals. Michael Andrews who hardly ever wears shoes, shaking the earth and waking storms with the drums and percussion. Get ready to go on a journey through the sound waves.
Sunbelt Revolution is an original southern-alternative rock band from Middle Georgia. They are a true DIY band from writing/composing their own music to recording, mixing and producing their own albums without any sponsors, management teams or record labels supporting them. The guys in the band take care of all aspects in making the band and their music a priority and a success…worldwide! Sunbelt Revolution has been together since 2008 and released three albums: ‘Burn Me Down’ in 2011 and ‘American Moon’ in 2013 and the most current third album: ‘Sad State of Affairs’ which is available now on iTunes!

A proud Dublin native, Ydrate The Motivator is an award-winning humanitarian and speaker, musical artist, poet, author, teacher, and life coach now living in Phoenix, Arizona. Ydrate’s unique blend of street-smart experiences and formal education speaks to a wide audience easily conveying his desire to motivate the world. During DubJam 2017, Ydrate returned to Dublin to perform and film a video for his anthem “All Georgia Ev’rythang” that has since had thousands of views and shares across various media outlets.
Jah Jr. is a down to earth artist from a trailer park in Dublin, GA. His songs include relatable stories over soul
stirring beats. From the pleasures of friends and parties to struggles with mental health and money problems,
he makes music that allows his listeners to unapologetically love and respect themselves. As an artist who’s capable of writing a hard hitting 16 and a club track, Jah Jr. is ready to bless stages.
Jah currently resides in the Holy City of Charleston, SC. He prides himself on his ability to simultaneously be
intelligent and self-aware while indulging in turn ups from time to time. His fly punchlines and witty wordplay

Bob Zampa captures the imagination and tugs the heart strings with his unique blend of classic folk style and captivating storytelling. Through the years Bob has played mostly night clubs, coffee houses, festivals, concerts and local TV shows throughout different parts of the country. Playing mostly 60’s and 70’s music along with some original songs from songwriters he has known through the years. His own description of his story telling and humor? “That’s just plum part of life”.
David Gorday or to most known as Day Day, is a Wrightsville, GA native currently residing in Jacksonville, Fl. His music boasts a blend of southern hip hop mashed with his country roots. Gathering his influences from Yelawolf and Georgia’s own, Rittz and Outkast leaves him with a unique style that is sure to leave you thinking his sound is anything but unoriginal.
Free Lance Ruckus has been growing a following in the central Georgia area for quite a while now. They have a great way of captivating crowds and leaving them thirsty for more. A band of self-described “good-timers” brings energy to the stage with their original mix of alternative Americana rock and classic country. Unique, powerful lead guitar, a solid rhythm section and vocal harmonies emphasize a true rock n’ roll experience while maintaining singer/songwriter style. Their sets consist of familiar, though forgotten covers, as well as fun originals in a variety of different styles that are both catchy fill you with groove!
A dynamic artist and educator, Dublin, GA native Sammy “Barefoot” Warren lives for the groove. From pots, pans and trash cans to concert timpani and marimba to drum sets, cajons, and djembes, he has devoted his life to the exploration of percussion instruments and music from around the globe. Warren has spent the past 15 years performing, teaching, recording, and even competing with a diverse array of musicians and styles around his home state of Georgia, as well as North & South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. Sammy’s multifarious style stems from a life of various musical endeavors ranging from gospel, R&B, and soul to theatre, classical/ marching band to rock/pop to jazz/blues and world/ fusion. Sammy Proudly endorses Tycoon Percussion Instruments. ‘Barefoot Groove’ is currently touring and performing not only as a solo artist but also with The Award-Winning Dovydas Band (previously David Smash), Canadian/ American Phenom Diana Catherine & others, as well as recording, writing, teaching, and loving life on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
Originally from nearby Wrightsville, Georgia Kara Evans discovered her love of music at a very young age listening to her grandpa’s radio in his barn. A few years later a family friend placed a guitar in her hands and over the next years she spent teaching herself chords and writing songs. Playing mostly for fun, Kara had her first official gig summer 2017 opening for Sunbelt Revolution during DubJam Remix. Preferring to play country music style, Kara’s love of music has led her to embrace every genre.
Born and raised in Swainsboro, GA Rachel Carter was gifted a guitar and lessons by her father at the age of 8. Playing quickly became a passion and writing music soon followed. Interest dwindled through the teen years but as young adulthood approached, Rachel rediscovered her art and the fire in her soul once again came alive. Recently opening for The Morning Watch, Rachel has also played multiple local festivals including DubJam 2017 and opening for Sunbelt Revolution during ShamRock 2018. In October 2016 she released her first single Excuses now available on iTunes and is currently working on her first full length album.
Heart of Pine, spawning from a Georgia BBQ and music festival late night jam, founding members, Steven Bagwell and Travis Richardson discovered they had similar interests in music. Years later, with the help of Curt Spell, the two decided to try their luck at writing together and thus began the Athens based group, Heart of Pine. Some would describe their music as a mix between Americana and Country with bits of Rock and Blues fusion. With influences ranging all over the genre map, Heart of Pine’s music has the potential to speak to almost everyone. At the beginning of 2017, the band added bassist Burton Hood and has been climbing higher on the list of in demand bands ever since.
Royal Johnson, nominated by the readers of the 11th Hour as Macon’s Best Rock Band for 2018, has now released two albums and played hundreds of shows around the southeast. It is their Roots-and-Blues-enthused funk rock sound that is drawing worldwide attention. A favorite of DubJam, the infectious energy of Royal Johnson’s live shows and the eclectic nature of their successful debut album has brought together a diverse fan base.

Our thanks to Georgia Council of the Arts, who awarded a $5,000 grant to DubJam! Through this grant, we’re able to pull in Atlanta artist, Corey Barksdale, who will paint a bench live during DubJam. The bench will then be placed in Dublin for the entire community to enjoy.
