Prepare for an evening full of hilarity, good food, and Murder?! during the Dublin Main Street Players’ production of Girls’ Night Out on November 7th, 8th & 9th!
Girls’ Night Out, written by D’Ann and Rick Artis, is a classic whodunnit case of good people getting pushed to their limit until they snap!
Four women, on their way to an evening at the theatre, stop for dinner at the establishment owned by the ex-husband of one of them. Between courses, the restauranteur ends up dead.
Each has a reason to wish him dead; perhaps one did more than wish. Perhaps it was one of the other guests. Only unwinding the plot will tell which one is the murderer.
Can you figure out who the culprit is?
Everett McAlister – A restauranteur and overall nasty guy with a habit of making enemies.
Gwendolyn McAlister – A woman with a passion for pastries and starting fights with her ex-husband, Everett.
Victoria Vanderbilt-Carnegie – An attorney from a well-to-do family and Gwen’s step-sister.
Brigitte Valentine – Everett’s current (and younger) love interest and a friend to the rest of the women.
Lucretia LaMonica – A straight-to-business police detective and a friend of the other women.
And more…
Shows will be held in the North Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church at 405 Bellevue Avenue. The building is located atop the small hill on the corner of North Church Street and Tucker Street.
Girls’ Night Out is a murder mystery at 6:30 PM with a three course Italian dinner. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at Colleen’s China and Society Kaffee.
Dublin Main Street Players is a local amateur theatre group which has been active for two decades, delivering high energy shows such as Steel Magnolias Mysteries, comedic skits from the Carol Burnett Show and lauded dinner theatre performances.
