Let that Irish beauty shine during the St. Patrick’s Miss Emerald City Beauty Pageant on Saturday, February 24th at 1 PM at Dublin High School Auditorium.
Contestants in the Miss Emerald City Beauty Pageant will compete in party dress (Wee Miss & Tiny Miss divisions) or evening gowns and will be judged on beauty, poise, and personality. All contestants will model in the “T” pattern. Hair and makeup vendors must contact the director via phone or at email@example.com to reserve a spot backstage. Please keep hair and makeup age appropriate.
Entry fee for the contest is $50 per contestant. Contestants also may submit a color or black and white photograph online to be entered in the optional photogenic competition. The entry fee for photogenic is $20. Photographs will be judged on natural beauty and not the quality of the photo (Please NO glamour shots). Photographs must be uploaded by February 15 (No Exceptions!!!!). Photogenic will be judged online by our panel of pageant judges prior to the pageant.
The pageant will begin promptly at 1:00 with the Wee Miss contestants Each division will follow the next with no exact times. Crowning will take place after every other division competes. There will be a beginning group line-up prior to each division starting competition.
Pageant Applicants must live in or adjacent to Laurens County including: Johnson, Twiggs, Wheeler, Wilkinson, Bleckley, Emanuel, Dodge, and Treutlen or have grandparents who live in Laurens County. The contest fee is $50 per contestant and an additional $20 for photogenic entry (1 photo).

To enter, submit online payment with application. Upload a color or black & white photo if participating in the Photogenic Competition and People’s Choice photo. You MUST add a people’s choice photo. The people’s choice photo and the photogenic photo can be the same photo, but must be uploaded individually

Rehearsal for the Miss Emerald City Pageant will be held Thursday, February 22nd at the Dublin High School Auditorium at the following times:
Ages 3-4 will be 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Ages 5-9 will be 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Ages 10-14 will be 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Ages 16-19 will be 7:00 to 7:30 PM
A People’s Choice photo MUST be uploaded at time of registration by ALL contestants. People’s Choice voting will begin online on February 17th. Votes will be $1.00 each Participation in this part of the competition is not mandatory, but a photo MUST be shown for each contestant. Winners will receive a large St. Patrick’s themed crown and banner.
All contestants not placing will receive a crown for participation. First place pageant winners will receive a large trophy, round crown & banner and will ride in the St. Patrick’s Festival Parade. Runner-ups will also receive a trophy. Miss Emerald City will receive a round crown, trophy, banner, bouquet, $500 cash scholarship, and $500 gift certificate to Lasting Impressions and will ride in the St. Patrick’s Festival Parade.
Tickets will be sold at the door (no advance ticket sales). Parents, family, and friends must purchase a ticket. Ticket prices are $5 each, and kids 3 & under are FREE.
