Water Day and Movie Night at Stubbs Park

There’s no better way beat the Georgia heat than with a day of FREE family fun at historic Stubbs Park! The City of Dublin Parks Department invites families to enjoy two free events on Friday, July 24th, beginning with Water Day at 11 AM, and ending with a free movie inside the Stubbs Park Gymnasium at 5:30 PM.

Make A Splash

From 11 AM to 2 PM Water Day brings families together for an afternoon of water-themed fun, games, and activities hosted by City departments and community partners. Be sure to stop by the Visit Dublin GA booth for fun giveaways while supplies last! Wear comfortable clothing that can get wet, and don’t forget a towel, sunscreen, and water shoes to make the most of the day.

Catch The Show

At 5:30 PM the fun keeps reeling with a free showing of GOAT inside the Stubbs Park Gymnasium. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the movie with family and friends.

Stubbs Park is just minutes from Historic Downtown Dublin. Between Water Day and Movie Night, enjoy lunch or dinner at one of our locally owned restaurants, explore unique downtown shops, or treat the family to something sweet to round out the day.
