2. Elder Anglers
If you’re pond-ering how to spend your Saturday morning, load up your rod and tackle box and head to the Senior Fishing Rodeo at Southern Pines Recreation Park on April 22nd! Seniors 55 years and over fish FREE from 7 AM to 10 AM. Bring your best bait because prizes are given for the largest fish and most fish caught. Registration begins at 6 AM.
3. Celebrating 75 Years
Explore the history of Dublin GA’s VA Medical Center during the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center 75th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 AM to 2 PM. Whether you’re a veteran, a history buff or just looking for some fun, join in the celebration full of food trucks, games, music, a car show, a through-the-years military uniform show, and more for FREE!
4. Thrifty Picking
It’s not just the fruit that’s ripe for the picking in springtime! If you’re feeling thrifty, pack light and jaunt over to Vintage Soul for the Blackshear Ferry Vintage Market. Pick through antiques, vintage treasures, unique barn finds, and repurposed salvage from over 15 vendors on Friday, April 28th from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday, April 29th from 9 AM to 5 PM.
5. Magic All Night
Do you believe in magic? Prepare to have your mind blown by the Southeast’s most sought after illusionist, Mark the Magic Man, at Theatre Dublin! Witness a master of illusion attempt to hold his breath underwater for 3 minutes and more cunning tricks during Solitaire at 3 PM on Saturday, April 29th.
