About Theatre Dublin
Built in 1934 and renovated in 1996, Theatre Dublin serves as a performing arts center for Dublin‐Laurens County and surrounding areas. With seating for over 600 people and state-of-the-art sound and light equipment, guests can enjoy a vibrant schedule of musical artists, children’s plays and performances, orchestras and concerts, movies, and more!
The theatre is owned by the City of Dublin and managed by the Dublin Downtown Development Authority. It is used primarily for live productions with special showings of movies throughout the year as well.
Dublin’s Center for Performing Arts
Host to such famous names as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, Kenny Chesney, Gene Watson, John Berry, The Drifters, Mike Snider, and concert pianist Mac Frampton, the Theatre presents an annual production of The Nutcracker and a calendar of theatrical performances from Dublin Community Theatre.
Martin Movie House
Take in a show as Downtown Dublin revives Martin Movie House at Theatre Dublin! Located in the heart of downtown Dublin GA, Martin Movie House has come back to life in a huge way. Boasting the largest retractable movie screen in Georgia, a custom built 40 foot screen along with 15-speaker motion-driven digital surround sound system, each of the 620 seats will experience the highest quality visual and sound.
