Visit Dublin GA announces Dublin-Laurens St. Patrick’s Festival as recipient of FY26 Cycle 1 Tourism Grant Funding
Dublin, November 7th, 2025 – Visit Dublin GA announced today that it has awarded $7,500 in tourism grant funding to Dublin-Laurens St. Patrick’s Festival to provide marketing support for the upcoming 61th Dublin-Laurens St. Patrick’s Festival, dedicated to expanding tourism in Dublin. This grant funding is cycle 1 of 2 for FY26.
We’re pleased our organization is able to offer financial support to the longstanding Dublin-Laurens St. Patrick’s Festival as its 61st year approaches. With over 23,200 visitors in Downtown Dublin during Super Saturday 2025 alone, the festival’s economic impact is clear. This grant funding will help expand marketing efforts to attract even more visitors from outside our region and state,” said Visit Dublin GA Director Miriam Lewis.
The Tourism Grant Program is designed for qualified applicants whose tourism projects or events clearly align with Visit Dublin GA’s mission to enhance the economic base of the community through tourism.
Visit Dublin GA announced the opening of the FY26 Cycle 1 Tourism Grant Program August 1st, 2025 to provide funds for marketing, product development, and other qualified expenses that foster local economic impact, result in increased overnight visitors, and enhance destination appeal for Laurens County. FY26 Cycle 2 of the Tourism Grant Funding opens February 6th, 2026.
Visit Dublin GA promotes Laurens County as a destination for tourists and conventions, invests in local community resources that encourage tourism and conventions, and coordinates and stages events with regional and state-wide interest.
