From Broadway Classics to fun-loving, family friendly shows, Dublin Community Theatre lights up the Theatre Dublin stage through out the year.
Through laughter, tears, and a thick fog of hairspray, a Louisiana salon owner, a mother-daughter duo planning a wedding, a woman who’s “been in a bad mood for 40 years,” and a mysterious newcomer face trials and triumphs armed with their greatest strength: each other.

Charlie Bucket, a boy that comes from a poverty-stricken family, wins a golden ticket to the mysterious Wonka Chocolate Factory. Accompanied by his Grandpa Joe, Charlie tours the factory with the rest of the winners, who have quite quirky personalities.

Guys and Dolls is a musical romantic comedy involving the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary, a showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow and a crap game manager who is anything but.

Established by the Downtown Dublin Development Authority in Spring of 2023, the Dublin Community Theatre’s focus is to create an opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to participate in productions. Whether someone is a seasoned actor, a first time performer or a backstage tech, everyone is welcome to join.
Built in 1934 and renovated in 1996, Theatre Dublin serves as a performing arts center for Dublin‐Laurens County and surrounding areas. Theatre Dublin can accommodate over 600 people and has state‐of‐the‐art sound and lighting equipment. The theatre is owned by the City of Dublin and managed by the Dublin Downtown Development Authority. It is used primarily for live productions with special showings of movies throughout the year as well.
