About the Festival
Since its inception in 1974, the Possum Hollow Festival has been a cherished part of Dexter’s cultural fabric. and continued to be a highlight of the Dexter community calendar until 2011. For over three decades, families, friends, and neighbors gathered annually to revel in the festivities, showcasing local talent, craftsmanship, and camaraderie. After a hiatus, the festival returned in 2024, reigniting the cherished traditions and excitement that defined this beloved event for so many years.
