All May-kes and Models
Take a drive out to Southern Pines Recreation Complex for the Shine in the Pines Truck and Car Show on Friday, May 20th at sunset and Saturday, May 21st starting at noon. Dazzling displays from the big rigs light up the night on Friday. Get things rolling on Saturday with food, raffles, door prizes, music, and an up close and personal look at a variety rigs, trucks, and cars! This event is FREE to the public! Proceeds of the show go to this year’s Shine in the Pines recipient: Emmi Ruth Savage.
Armed Forces May
Grab your poles and cast out at Southern Pines Recreation Complex during the Armed Forces Fishing Rodeo hosted by the Dublin-Laurens County Recreation Authority on Saturday, May 21st. Celebrate Armed Forces Day with a morning of fishing, family, and friendly competition. Registration starts at 6 AM and requires valid military identification. This fish-a-palooza is free and lasts from 7 AM to 10 AM, so reel in as many fish as your cooler can hold! Prizes will be awarded to the Most Fish Caught and Largest Fish Caught in each category.

After over 30 years in the music industry, Doug Stone brings his fans his timeless hits, like “In a Different Light” and “A Jukebox with a Country Song,” with a new acoustic flair. Andy Griggs dazzles audiences with raw rhythms and lyrics that reverberate from the soul. Opening May
Summer is almost here, and Dublin GA is diving in with a splash! The Southern Pines Water Park season opens on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 28th! Swim to your heart’s content Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 AM to 8PM, and Sundays from 12 PM to 8 PM. Kids of all ages get to soak their friends in a water war at the splash pad, lounge about in the lazy river, slip and slosh down 20 foot slides, and swim laps around each other in the 6 lane pool! One daily gate pass is $10 and $8 for military personnel. Children 2 years and under are FREE!
