This month, we’re shining a light on someone who truly brightens Downtown Dublin: Kim Cook, owner of Hello Sunshine Co.
After spending a decade working in hospice care, Kim dreamed of creating a joyful space where every visitor could feel a little lighter and leave with a smile. Inspired by the nursery rhyme her parents sang to her as a child, Hello Sunshine Co. is full of gifts with heart—many from local and woman-owned businesses that give back to charitable causes. (Kim calls it “Purchase with a Purpose,” and we couldn’t love it more!)
A cancer survivor, a proud former Miss St. Patrick’s (1996), and an advocate for groups like Relay for Life and Cancer Outreach of Middle Georgia, Kim brings her story—and her heart—into every conversation and every handmade bow that wraps a gift.
Her motto says it best: “If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours!”
