September 17th at 3:45 PM, join the John Laurens Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for Bells Across America, a patriotic observance celebrating Constitution Week and the enduring principles upon which the United States was founded.

Let Freedom Ring

Held at Railroad Park each year on September 17th, this annual event commemorates the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787. Communities across the nation participate in the observance by ringing bells at exactly 4 PM Eastern Time. In Dublin, attendees will gather as a bell is rung 13 times, symbolizing the original thirteen colonies and honoring the birth of our constitutional republic.

The ceremony will begin at 3:45 p.m. and feature patriotic songs performed by local schoolchildren, historical interpretations in colonial attire, and reflections on the importance of preserving the freedoms and responsibilities established by the Constitution.

This year’s celebration has been enhanced as part of the nationwide commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary, offering an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to connect with our nation’s history while joining millions of Americans in a shared moment of remembrance and patriotism.
