Carnegie Beginnings

Originally erected in 1904, funding for the building was provided largely by the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie who offered $10,000 as part of his educational program. This architectural masterpiece served as Laurens County’s public library for many years, becoming an invaluable resource to the community. An architectural marvel, Dublin Carnegie is the perfect historic venue for intimate receptions, meetings, weddings, and art exhibits. This historical gem is one 0f three remaining Carnegie buildings in Georgia still in its original form.
