How does Dublin GA do Easter? With an Easter Egg Drop! Hop into the Easter spirit with the most egg-citing spring event as 15,000 fun-filled eggs are dropped by helicopter, when the biggest Easter Egg hunt around hits Dublin on Saturday, March 23rd starting at 10 AM at Southern Pines Regional Park.
Dublin’s Easter Egg Drop is a free must-see event for kids of all ages (yes, even the grown-up ones!). As the helicopter swoops in, the air fills with squeals of wonder as thousands of candy stuffed Easter eggs burst over the park. It’s a scramble like no other as little ones dash to scoop up their colorful treasures.
Two separate egg drops ensure hunting fun for all! The first drop for ages up to 4 is at 10:30 AM, and ages 5 through 10 get in on the action at 11 AM.
Sponsored by Dublin-Laurens Recreation Authority, the Easter Egg Drop is the perfect time to explore Southern Pines Regional Park. Located 1.9 miles off Exit 51 on I-16, Southern Pines’ Regional Park has fun for the whole family! Visit this beautifully landscaped 120-acre facility, featuring a water park, Ag and Expo Center with arena for animal shows and rodeos, baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, walking trails, pickleball courts, meeting space and picnic areas.
