Tourism in Laurens County Generated $126.8M in Visitor Spending in 2025.
Dublin, GA October 2nd, 2026 – Visit Dublin GA today announced that visitors to Laurens County brought in $126.8M in spending in calendar year 2025, according to newly released data made available by the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Once again, a record breaking total visitor spending in 2025, reflects a year-over-year (YOY) increase of 4.4%
Bill Brown, Chairman of the Dublin-Laurens Tourism Council said, “These numbers are something our entire community can be proud of. Tourism doesn’t happen because of one organization or one industry. It happens because businesses, events, attractions and, most importantly, our people all work together to make Dublin and Laurens County a place visitors want to experience and return to.”
Travel into Laurens County in 2025 supported 1,263 jobs and generated $9.6M in state and local tax revenues for Laurens County. Without the state and local tax revenues generated by tourism, Laurens County taxes would cost an additional $515 per year, per household. Food and beverage was the leading category in terms of share, with $37.5 million spent, accounting for 29.6% of visitor spending, and growing by 7.7% (YOY).
“Visits are a reflection of what happens when an entire community works together to create a destination people feel at home in. Everyone plays a role in that success, but most importantly, it is the good people of Dublin and Laurens County who make visitors feel welcome when they arrive. That genuine hospitality is a big part of what keeps people coming back. We are proud of what we have accomplished together.” said Visit Dublin GA Executive Director Miriam Lewis.
In 2025, Georgia broke visitation records for the fourth year in a row, reaching a new high of 175.6M domestic and international visitors. These travelers spent a record $46.2B on hotels, restaurants, transportation, and other local businesses across the state and generated $5.3B in state and local tax revenues. Total economic impact for Georgia travel and tourism reached $84.1B and supported more than 473,837 jobs statewide.
