Need to refuel from all the jiggin’ around town? On this most Super of weeks, explore our guide to dining like the Irish in Dublin GA.

Dine Like The Irish

Get To The Meat and Potatoes

Fill up on some finger-licking goodness from Holy Smokes BBQ with a Corned Beef Brisket plate, or indulge in local cuts of beef from Sundown Cattle Company at Company Supply. And don’t forget to pair it with a refreshing drink – maybe a green beer in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, available while supplies last.  Potato Place delivers a spin on spuds with all the fixings! And mark your calendars for the Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner on Super Saturday – a must-try treat, available for one day only!

Emerald Isle

Did you know Ireland is an island off the coast of Europe? Fresh seafood like salmon and oysters are staples of Irish cuisine. Dive into Saltwater Fishery‘s Baked Oysters Dublin – even leprechauns approve! Or slip around the corner to Deano’s for Italian fare and the succulent Horseradish Encrusted Salmon. Fun Fact: Horseradish commonly grows in the wild in Ireland!

Pot of Gold

Discover a real treasure with a Snack Boxx feature including wings, fries, and leprechaun lemonade, or swing by Mama P’s Kitchen, because locals know Pauline’s birthday is “oh so Dublin”, and falls on St. Patrick’s Day! Satisfy your cravings with a treat at the end of the rainbow from Rosie’s Ice Cream dishing up their festive ROYGBIV Sundae.

Savor Dublin Flavor

Find the real pot o’ gold with a “sack o’ Jack’s” sliders or a bag of biscuits from Lou Ann’s. Both Dublin GA staples have been filling lucky bellies for decades. While we are on the subject of all things flour, Pancake Day is an Irish tradition. In the old Irish days, it was a way to get rid of eggs and dairy products before Lent. In the spirit of the Irish, Dublin GA has its own Pancake Supper as part of the St. Patrick’s Festival!

Sunday Brunch

We’ll wrap up our guide to dining with none other than with a Super Sunday Brunch on March 16th! Be sure to secure your tickets and join us for a memorable dining experience!

Miriam Lewis

Once upon a time, a serial reader of Little Women and Little House On The Prairie, Miriam Lewis has harnessed her love of great storytelling, beautiful photography, and good people, and bundled it into a big package that is Executive Director of Visit Dublin GA. As a destination veteran Miriam joined Visit Dublin GA in 2015. She oversees Dublin Visitors Center operations & staff and Dublin and Laurens County’s marketing communications while leading strategic initiatives to maintain and strengthen the tourism industry in Dublin. Her favorite work hobbies include making good old fashioned paper lists (plural), reminding staff to take their breaks (they sometimes listen), quality checking local eats (she’ll quickly suggest goat curry or tongue tacos), and building relationships which become links in partnership across the state, boosting an economic engine for the Laurens County community.
