In Dublin, Brian’s Giant Subs has long been one of those places. And now, thanks to Brad and Robyn Meeks, that same spirit of local hospitality is showing up in a new way at Dough Bros, too.
Keeping a local favorite local.
Brian’s first opened in 1989, founded by the Keith family after they moved from New Jersey to Dublin. Over time, it grew from a small franchise into the independent hometown staple locals know and love today.
When Brad and Robyn purchased the restaurant in July 2018, their goal wasn’t to reinvent it. It was to protect what made it special in the first place. That meant keeping the daily fresh-baked bread, the made-to-order subs, the meats and cheeses sliced right in front of you, and the kind of customer service that keeps regulars coming back again and again.
And if you’ve ever seen the line at Brian’s, you already know: people show up for a reason. That reputation even reached beyond Dublin, when Atlanta Magazine’s Savor Georgia named Brian’s one of its “Hot Spots for Sandwiches” in 2024.
Building the next chapter Downtown.

Downtown Dublin’s newest eatery brings the same focus on quality ingredients and hometown hospitality, but this time with pizza, calzones, pasta, wings, and more. It’s quick-service and made-to-order, so you can watch your meal come together right in front of you. And yes, the ranch tastes homemade because it is, and you can bring a bottle home with you!
There’s more: Dough Bros is also home to Dublin’s only pizza buffet, served during lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM. Add in gelato, loaded teas, and cold brew on tap, and suddenly lunch downtown starts sounding like a very good idea.
Good people, good food, good community
What makes Brad and Robyn’s story stand out isn’t just that they own two restaurants people love. It’s how they show up for the community around them. Through Mission Mondays, Brian’s partners with a different local charity each month and donates a portion of Monday sales to support that cause, turning lunch into something that gives back.
