Ruben moved to Dublin from Canoga Park, California, in 2010, and he brought with him a true passion for food. He’s the heart behind La Joya’s beloved dishes—skilled in both Mexican and Italian cuisine—and nothing makes him happier than seeing his food bring people joy. Yadira keeps everything running smoothly, all while the two have raised their four daughters alongside their growing restaurant family.
