Pig in the Park BBQ Championship
Get fired up in Dublin GA during the St. Patrick’s Pig in the Park BBQ Championship at the Market on Madison with hot grills and all the FREE family fun beginning Friday, March 7th at 5 PM and continues on March 8th at 9 AM. Relish the good times with kiddie rides, free BBQ samples hot off the grill, live music, and more!

The grills are not the only thing hot at the Pig in the Park BBQ Championship. While the chefs light their fires and get the juices flowing on Friday, March 7th, Downtown Dublin GA spices things up with a blend of Southern musical flavor! Bring a lawn chair and pack your cooler. Pick a good spot to watch the action while enjoying food vendors and rides for the kids.
BBQ Championship
The competition heats up as the BBQ Championship continues on Saturday, March 8th from 9 AM to 3 PM as teams compete for bragging rights and cash prizes.
Fired up to compete? Awesome sauce….rules will be supplied to each head cook!

Sponsored by Main Street Dublin and the Dublin Downtown Development Authority, the St. Patrick’s Pig in the Park BBQ Championship pits competitors against each other in three categories: ribs, pulled pork and chicken with first, second, and third place awarded in each division. Savor the sights and smells as downtown Dublin fires up for this annual event.
Event Lineup
Friday, March 7th from 5 PM until 11 PM
5 PM – Pig in the Park begins with music, food vendors, and kids events
After rocking the stage at Spring Fest last year, Gunshy returns to pump up the party at Pig in the Park on the Market on Madison stage.
Saturday, March 8th from 9 AM to 3 PM
BBQ Judging begins:
- Chicken – 11:30 AM turn in time
- Pork Ribs – 12 PM turn in time
- Pulled Pork – 12:30 PM turn in time
Kiddie rides and food vendors continue throughout the day!
